BEING LUTHERAN

Being Lutheran is the Adult Sunday School curriculum at Faith.  The class will take students through the Book of Concord.

The Book of Concord contains the confessional documents of the Lutheran Church.  Lutherans for the last 500 years have used these documents (The Three Ecumenical Creeds, Luther's Small & Large Catechisms, The Augsburg Confession and its Apology, The Smalcald Articles, The Treatise on the Power & Primacy of the Pope, and the Formula of Concord) as a faithful summary and exposition of the teachings of Scripture.

The goal of this class is for Lutherans to know what they believe and why the believe it, and for those interested in Lutheran theology to have an opportunity to explore exactly what it means to be a Lutheran.
